Danny Minnick is an American Neo Expressionist painter, professional skateboarder, skateboard cinematographer, actor and director born in Seattle, Washington and living and working in Los Angeles and New York.

Minnick is known for his vibrant painting style and approaches his work with an instinctive sense of wonder and curiosity. He attributes his success to “karma, fate and a lot of hard work”. Preferring to work on large scale canvases which convey a formidable presence and visceral experience. His figure; an entity named “Character” is a human skeleton with a plus sign in the torso created with stylised linear brush strokes. It is a symbol according to Minnick of the “positive energy” that he wishes to spread worldwide.

Minnick’s works are recognised in the private collections of celebrities, entrepreneurs and athletes including; Robert Downey Jr., Lionel Richie, LeBron James, Ron Burkle, Michelle Lamy, Jessica Alba, Gus Van Sant and Jason Mamoa to name a few.

Danny made his Asian exhibition debut with Art Works in December 2023 with his sellout show, 18 Workz.
