Ramadhyan Putri Pertiwi, affectionately known as Ramrama, is a contemporary Indonesian artist renowned for her profound expressions through vibrant paintings. Born in 1993 in Kota Bekasi, on the outskirts of Jakarta, Ramrama embarked on her artistic journey driven by a deep-rooted belief in the power of art to convey messages of kindness, love, and interconnectedness among humanity, animals, plants, and the universe.
Ramrama’s artistic vision is grounded in the idea that artists act as conduits for spreading empathy and understanding. Her captivating compositions, primarily created with acrylic on canvas, are characterised by a unique blend of natural abstraction and symbolic motifs, offering viewers a fresh perspective on reality. Among her recurring themes, floral abstraction stands out as a metaphor for the essence of life itself.
Recognising her passion for art early on, Ramrama pursued formal education at the prestigious Indonesia Institute of The Arts Yogyakarta from 2013 to 2018, where she honed her skills and deepened her artistic insights. In 2018, she proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
Throughout her career, Ramrama’s works have garnered acclaim both at home and abroad, with exhibitions spanning Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea. Despite her youth, her success as an artist stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to fostering harmony and appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.
